Technical opening of Ganh Hao Bridge
Ganh Hao Bridge is a component project of the Ong Doc River Bridge Construction Project, the East-West axis road with a total investment of VND 2,150 billion, using the central budget and provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025. The Ganh Hao bridge project alone has a total investment of 655 billion VND.
The bridge has a load design HL-93; total global length L = 770m; including 14 approach spans, which are 40m long super T simple girders, 3 spans between design and construction applying balanced cantilever technology.
The total width of the bridge is 12m; of which, the vehicle section is 11m, the boat clearance is 60m, the boat clearance height is 11m.
The project started on March 17, 2023. The completion of the project will contribute significantly to the smooth connection of the East-West road axis of Ca Mau province and the coastal route connecting with Bac Lieu province, opening up new development space for Tan Thuan commune, Dam Doi district, creating momentum to promote the socio-economic development of Tan Thuan commune, Dam Doi district in particular and Ca Mau province in general.
Starting construction of a 1,200-bed general hospital project
The Ca Mau General Hospital project belongs to group A project, the project implementation location is in Ward 6, Ward 7, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province. The project implementation period is 2020 - 2025.
Construction investment scale: Main house block; Mental health room; Infectious diseases room; General house; Emergency room, maintenance room; General and accommodation area for patients' relatives.
The auxiliary works include: 5 security houses; 3 2-wheel parking lots; landing areas for helicopters; technical areas; pumping room - domestic water lake and fire prevention and fighting; wastewater treatment plant; incinerator - garbage storage house; oxygen tank storage house; transformer station; radioactivity tank.
Technical infrastructure items: leveling; internal traffic; power supply into the project; solar power system; Water supply and drainage system; Clean water supply system and central and local hot water in some necessary locations; Domestic wastewater treatment system; Medical wastewater treatment system and some other items.
The project has a total investment of more than VND 3,301 billion. Of which, the central budget to support the health sector in the period of 2021 - 2025 is more than 2,347 billion VND; the provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period of 2021 - 2025 and other legal capital sources are more than 954 billion VND.
Handover of site and groundbreaking for Ca Mau Airport expansion and upgrade project
The project to expand and upgrade Ca Mau Airport has started the project of clearing bombs, mines and explosives.
According to the plan of Vietnam Airports Corporation - JSC, the construction items of the project will continue to start in the second quarter of 2025 (ferrels, patrol roads, and testing of cement-fortified soil piles) and the third quarter of 2025 (the remaining items, such as: Runway/landing roads, parking lots, terminals, etc.).
In October 2024, the Prime Minister agreed to let Ca Mau province implement the Ca Mau Airport Expansion and Upgrade Project, ensuring the exploitation of A320, A321 and equivalent aircraft. The investor of the above project is ACV, with a total investment of about VND 2,400 billion.
According to the design, the scale of the project will be to build a new runway (sized 2,400x45m); build a taxiway connecting the runway with the aircraft parking lot; build a aircraft parking lot in the southern area; renovate and expand the existing passenger terminal to a capacity of 500,000 passengers/year...
