Dong Nai announces compensation plan for fuel supply project to airport

    Dong Nai - The fuel pipeline system for aircraft from the headwater port to Long Thanh airport uses an area of nearly 24ha through 3 communes and wards.

    On June 21, Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee, Dong Nai City publicly posted the compensation and support plan for the project of fuel pipeline system for aircraft from the headwater port to Long Thanh International Airport (Long Thanh airport) section passing through the commune.

    According to the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center - Long Thanh Branch, in phase 1, 21 cases with an area of 5,352.5m2 will be recovered, with a total value of compensation and support plan of nearly 10 billion VND.

    The project of fuel pipeline system for aircraft from headwater port to Long Thanh airport is invested by Dong Nai City People's Committee, in October 2025.

    This project has a total investment of more than 1,900 billion VND.

    The project includes: building 2 parallel steel pipes to ensure safety in exploitation, buried underground about 2m above the ground, each pipe 0.5m apart. The pipe diameter is expected to be 16 inches, with the length of each pipe about 23.2km.

    This pipeline connects from Go Dau Industrial Park to the fuel storage in Long Thanh airport and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2026.

    The project uses a land area of nearly 24ha in the communes and wards: Phuoc Thai, Long Phuoc, Long Thanh, belonging to Dong Nai city.

    The project has a sustainable and long-term construction scale, ensuring large and safe transport capacity to supply fuel for Long Thanh airport in both phases.
