Nghe An - Tens of thousands of people from all over the country visited Uncle Ho's hometown during the festival, remembering and expressing gratitude to the beloved leader.

On the morning of May 1, a line of people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, holding fresh flowers and national flags stretched out on small paths covered with green bamboo, leading to the thatched roofs where Uncle Ho was born and lived in his childhood. Under the downward sunlight, the restless footsteps still persistently move towards the simple wooden house - the origin of a great man of the world.

Veteran Nguyen Van Hoa (77 years old, living in Ha Tinh city) was moved: "This is the third time I have visited Uncle Ho's hometown, but today - exactly 50 years since the Liberation of the South, emotions are much stronger. I take my children and grandchildren along to remind the next generations to always remember Uncle Ho's merits, understand that today's peace has been exchanged for the blood of many generations".

Students in bright red costumes, eagerly witnessed for the first time the simple artifacts associated with Uncle Ho's childhood.

Dao Minh Anh (14 years old, Hanoi) holding a bunch of fresh gold chrysanthemums in his hand, emotionally said: " Going back to Uncle Ho's hometown on this special day is something I have long long dreamed of. I will try to study well to be worthy of being a good nephew of Uncle Ho".

In addition to the incense offering, the Monument Management Board also cooperates with the Ho Chi Minh Museum to organize the thematic exhibition "50 years of liberation of the South, reunification of the country 1975 - 2025", displaying 238 typical images, documents and slogans. The exhibition attracts a large number of visitors, especially young people. Many students linger for a long time in front of the panels, touched by the image of the liberation soldiers and historical milestones.
