According to Lao Dong's records at 5 pm on September 2 - the last day of the holiday, Co Linh and Dam Quang Trung streets were prolongedly congested.
On Co Linh street, traffic jams stretched in both directions. The reason is the volume of vehicles pouring from the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway and Ring Road 3 towards Vinh Tuy bridge.
On Dam Quang Trung street, vehicles also moved slightly to move onto Vinh Tuy bridge. Congestion also occurred in the opposite direction.
The increased number of vehicles on the last day of the holiday and narrowed roads due to the construction of Co Linh tunnel are the reasons for the congestion in this area.
