On July 22, Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital said that at about 6 am on July 21, during a tour at Nhat Le beach, a delegation of hospital officials and doctors received information about a tourist drowning in a state of circulatory arrest, critical.
Immediately, a group of doctors from Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital quickly approached the scene, coordinated with the local 115 emergency team to deploy chest compressions, respiratory support and perform emergency resuscitation measures.
After about 10 minutes of unremitting effort, the victim showed signs of circulatory recovery.

BS.CKI Dao Van Dai, Oncology Department, Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital - who directly participated in the emergency - said that after overcoming the critical condition, the tourist was transferred by local 115 emergency force to Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital for continued monitoring and treatment.
The team present at the scene included 5 officials, doctors and nurses. As soon as we approached the victim, we quickly assigned tasks, one person performed chest compressions, one person performed balloon ventilation to support respiration, one person placed endotracheal tubes, one person coordinated to transfer the patient to a medical facility... All operations were carried out urgently, rhythmically and accurately.
The'golden' time to save a drowning person is only counted in minutes. Therefore, early detection and proper first aid are decisive for the ability to save lives as well as limit future sequelae," Dr. Dai informed.
