On February 15, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee just issued a document assigning the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to coordinate with the electricity sector (EVN and member units) to recover and hand over the new foundation position for the relocation of high-voltage electricity infrastructure (from 110 kV or more), ensuring synchronization and general progress of the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, People's Committees of wards and communes and Dong Nai Power Company to review and statistically assess the current status of power projects under 110kV. Based on the review, propose relocation plans, implementation progress and funding needs to serve relocation work.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, People's Committees of wards and communes, Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Department of Agriculture and Environment and related units to review and determine the scope of impact on the water supply pipeline; Monitor the relocation of the water supply pipeline within the project scope, ensuring compliance with the general progress; and at the same time summarize the cost needs for relocation work.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committees of wards, communes, VNPT Dong Nai, Viettel Dong Nai and related telecommunications enterprises to review and statistically assess the current status of telecommunications infrastructure; Organize relocation to ensure that it does not affect the project implementation progress.
According to the progress, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to complete the site clearance of the North-South high-speed railway line before December 2026.
The North-South High-Speed Railway project section passing through Dong Nai province is about 82 km long, passing through 12 wards and communes of the province, arranging 1 station at Long Thanh International Airport and an maintenance station in Xuan Duong commune.
To implement the project, Dong Nai province must recover a land area of about 262 hectares.
Through preliminary inventory, in the project area, there are about 374 households that need to be resettled.
