According to the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section (Km185 - Km189) is a group B project, level I project.
The total length of the project is 3.8km, cross-section from 46 - 53m, including items: renovation, upgrading of foundation, road surface, drainage, technical trenches, lighting, sidewalks, green trees, traffic organization.
The total investment of the project is 887.735 billion VND (construction cost is 297.614 billion VND).
Project implementation time: 2011 - Q1/2026.
Regarding the capital plan, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the accumulated disbursement to date is 774.074 billion VND. The 2026 plan has not been allocated.
To date, the entire project has completed site clearance work.
Regarding the construction situation, more than 90% of the total project volume has been completed (3.8km/3.8km of asphalt concrete paving has been completed), technical traffic was opened on December 31, 2025.
The investor is continuing to urge construction to complete the remaining items and complete the entire project in the first quarter of 2026 in accordance with the direction of the Hanoi Party Secretary in Notice No. 144-TB/TU dated December 22, 2025.
