Ho Chi Minh City - The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is being accelerated in construction progress, the Thuan Giao ward section is building an overpass span across My Phuoc - Tan Van road.

On May 21, the construction unit is speeding up the progress of the Binh Chuan intersection project under the Ring Road 3 project of Ho Chi Minh City, the section passing through Binh Duong province previously.

The Binh Chuan intersection project is being implemented in Thuan Giao ward with a total investment of about 570 billion VND. After more than 2.5 years of construction, the shape of the intersection gradually revealed itself.

According to records to date, the entire system of drilled piles and closed tunnels at branches C and D has been 100% completed.

At the construction site, 14 abutment and pillar platforms are gradually being completed. Notably, concrete beams are being cast to be installed into a system of overpass spans across My Phuoc - Tan Van road.

Bypass roads on both sides have been paved with asphalt for vehicles to circulate. Currently, the contractor is accelerating the progress of installing and completing the overpass system to form an elevated roundabout of this intersection.

In parallel with the construction of the overpass, the My Phuoc - Tan Van road section is under construction to expand to 12 lanes. Currently, the contractor has installed drainage culverts and is carrying out soil embankment and compaction to make the roadbed.

It is known that this intersection project has a length of 1.3 km, including the expressway section, bridge, and underpass. The project started construction at the end of June 2023. According to assessments, the progress of this project is slow compared to the set target. Currently, contractors are focusing machinery and manpower to accelerate construction progress to ensure the progress of the entire Ring Road 3 HCMC project through Binh Duong province before.
