Functional agencies of Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang are urgently handling the case of a foreign male tourist suddenly climbing onto the roof of a car and smashing things right in the middle of An Thuong tourist street.
On May 17, a clip recording offensive scenes in An Thuong tourist area (Hoang Ke Viem street, Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang city) spread rapidly on social networking forums.
According to the recorded images, a foreign man in a topless state, wearing shorts, suddenly rushed out into the street, climbing straight onto the roof of a car parked close to the sidewalk. In broad daylight and in front of many passersby, this person continuously trampled, smashed things, and even lay sprawled on the roof of the car. Not stopping there, before leaving, the man also used his hand to break the rear wipers of the car.
At the time of the incident, this person was in a state of psychosis, unable to control his behavior.
Regarding the above incident, on the evening of May 17, representatives of the leaders of Ngu Hanh Son Ward People's Committee confirmed that the incident happened on May 16. Immediately after receiving the reflected information, the local police force immediately intervened to verify and clarify.
