On the morning of June 25, information from Ha Linh commune said that at 7 pm on June 24, people discovered a young man drowning at Dam Mung lake, in hamlet 1, Ha Linh commune.
Immediately after receiving the information, Ha Linh Commune Police coordinated with medical forces to quickly approach and give first aid to the victim. However, the victim died.
The victim's identity is D. V. D (21 years old, residing in Tam Phuoc ward, Dong Nai city).
According to information from relatives, Mr. D returned to his hometown in Duc Tho commune (Ha Tinh province) to commemorate his biological father. At about 6 pm on June 24, Mr. D went to Ha Linh commune to visit his grandmother and then went to Dam Mung lake to bathe, but unfortunately encountered an accident.
Checking the body, functional agencies did not detect any external force wounds, so they determined that the victim died of drowning.
The victim's body was then handed over to the family to be taken home for burial according to local customs.
