Mr. Hoang Minh (living in Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City) shared that this year, he, his wife and two young children decided to stay in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate Tet. In the past, he was used to seeing crowded vehicles and bustling people shopping. However, this morning, when he went out, he was surprised by the strange scene: the streets suddenly became deserted and more airy. "Maybe many people have left the city to return to their hometowns. Seeing this atmosphere, I wanted to take my wife and children for a walk around Saigon, both to enjoy the rare peace and to buy some more Tet items," he said.
Ba Son Bridge - a daily "check-in" spot for many people, especially young people, was also quite deserted this morning.
Spring is very close to the city named after Uncle Ho. The streets of Ho Chi Minh City are now filled with more flowers, cleaner and more airy, signaling that Spring is knocking on every door.
