On the morning of January 26 (27th of Lunar New Year), the reporter's observations showed that the number of passengers arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport had begun to cool down compared to the peak a few days earlier. However, at the check-in and procedure areas inside the airport, there were still many passengers lining up to complete procedures according to the instructions of the operating units at the port.
The airport has also added 100 volunteers to work from 5am to 11pm to support people.
According to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, in recent days, some flights have been delayed due to weather reasons, and the units are always trying to provide the best service to passengers.
Tan Son Nhat Airport has also requested that airline representatives be present at the counter/gate to handle and promptly inform passengers of flight delays and cancellations, to avoid passengers causing frustration, causing disturbances and disrupting security and order at the terminal, affecting operations at the port.
According to information from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, today, the airport will serve 984 flights. Of which, there are 491 departure flights (337 domestic departure flights, 154 international departure flights); 493 arrival flights (340 domestic arrival flights, 153 international arrival flights).
The total number of passengers expected to be served is 146,678. Of these, 94,622 are departing passengers (66,149 domestic departing passengers, 28,473 international departing passengers); 52,056 are arriving passengers (24,140 domestic arriving passengers, 27,916 international arriving passengers).
