In 2025, Hanoi will have 124,072 candidates registered to take the 2025 high school graduation exam, accounting for more than 1/10 of the total number of candidates nationwide.
Of which, the number of candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program is 121,507 candidates; the number of candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program is 2,565 candidates.
The number of candidates registered to take the high school graduation exam in each subject is as follows: Math has 122,519 candidates; Physics has 34,668 candidates; Chemistry has 17,555 candidates; Biology has 3,973 candidates; Literature has 122,950 candidates; History has 51,695 candidates; Geography has 47,002 candidates, Economic and Legal education has 25,206 candidates, Foreign language has 62,203 candidates, IT has 649 candidates, Industrial technology has 18 candidates, Agricultural technology has 1,168 candidates.
To organize the exam, Hanoi plans to arrange 233 exam locations in 30 districts, towns and cities with a total of nearly 5,600 exam rooms; mobilize more than 16,000 cadres, teachers and staff to participate in exam supervision at the exam locations.
In addition, there are nearly 900 police officers and soldiers on duty to ensure security and safety at the exam viewing and judging points.
