President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang meets voters in Ninh Thuan

On the morning of December 2, the National Assembly Delegation of Ninh Thuan province met with voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Chairing the meeting with voters were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province and Ms. Chamalea Thi Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee met with voters in Bac Son commune, Thuan Bac district.

Reporting to voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, Ms. Chamalea Thi Thuy said that the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly took place right after the great success of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee to consider and decide on many important issues, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in terms of institutions and policies, and unblock development resources, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

At the opening session of the meeting, General Secretary To Lam gave an important speech before the National Assembly.

After 29.5 days of working in the spirit of innovation, solidarity, democracy, intelligence, proactiveness, urgency and high responsibility, the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly completed the entire agenda by reviewing 51 contents and groups of contents, including 33 contents related to legislative work, 18 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues; at the same time, 12 groups of contents were reported by agencies for National Assembly deputies to study.

After careful consideration, the National Assembly passed 18 laws and 21 resolutions, and gave initial comments on 10 other draft laws; reviewed and decided on personnel work within its authority; and reviewed and decided on the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plan for 2025, national target programs, important national projects and many important issues; conducted questions and answers; supervised the topic "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023"...

Also at the session, the National Assembly reviewed and approved the Resolutions approving the investment policy of the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period; Resolution approving the investment policy of the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control until 2030; Resolution on the investment policy of the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis; Resolution on the establishment of Hue city under the Central Government...
