The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Provincial Road 325B, connecting Ho Chi Minh road to Ngoc Thap bridge and the rescue route - with a total investment after adjustment of 300 billion VND, the investor is the People's Committee of Phu Tho town.
According to the project documents, the route has a total main route length of 7.96 km, with 2 sections: The section in the urban area is 3.96 km long through Ha Thach commune, Phu Tho town; the section outside the urban area is 4 km long through Xuan Lung commune, Tien Kien commune, Lam Thao district.
The road is designed according to the technical standards of a secondary urban main street, a level III plain road and a standard suitable for the nature of works inside and outside the urban area.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in late March, the urban section in Phu Tho town has completed all items and routes, and has been spacious and has been arranged with street lights.
However, 1 km of the new road avoiding the center of Ha Thach commune is still blocked and cannot be used because it has not been accepted and handed over.
For the non-urban section, in Xuan Lung and Tien Kien communes, there are also many sections with asphalt pavement.
The rest are currently being paved with crushed stone and compacted, some sections after completing site clearance are being dug and the roadbed is being filled, and a few have not been cleared (near the Bac Lam Thao Industrial Cluster).
From the end of the project road in Tien Kien commune to the main gate to the Hung Temple Festival Center (Hung Temple Historical Site), the distance is only about 3 km.
Therefore, from Phu Tho town, which is considered a transit station of the area with the IC9 Intersection of Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, the end point of Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway, Ho Chi Minh Road... to Hung Temple, vehicles traveling on this project route are the closest.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - a resident of Zone 1, Tien Kien Commune - shared:
"The new road intersection near my house has just been paved, in the past few days the road has been much more crowded because there are many people from the town, Thanh Ba, Tam Nong, Cam Khe districts or further to Den Hung, to Viet Tri".
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Le Trung Ha - Director of the Phu Tho Town Construction Investment Project Management Board - said that with the non-urban road in Xuan Lung commune, Tien Kien commune of Lam Thao district, the contractor is urgently constructing.
"The resettlement area (in Xuan Lung commune) has been completed, but site clearance in Tien Kien and Xuan Lung communes is still a bit problematic. However, we are trying to speed up the construction of the locations where the site has been handed over, as compact as possible to serve the travel needs of the people as well as speed up the project's progress" - Mr. Ha shared.
