In recent days, on social networks, there has been a "trend" of eating ice cream and checking in at the main gate to the Hung Temple Festival Center.
Many young people and tourists enjoy the ice cream sticks that shape the gate with many different colors.
According to statistics from the Organizing Committee of Hung Vuong Ancestor's Commemoration - Culture and Tourism Week of the Land of the Snake 2025, on the opening day of the festival on March 29 (ie January 1 of the lunar calendar), there were about 800 cars and 700 motorbikes to the Hung Temple Historical Site, welcoming people and tourists from all over the country to attend the festival.
Mr. Tran Van Hieu - a resident of Xuan Huy commune, Lam Thao district - shared: "Hung Temple is near, so I go continuously every festival. This year, my wife and I and our children came here early because we saw that in the past few days, many people eating ice cream and taking photos posted on social networks were very excited. Although it is only a small aspect, it is also a new point that I think is contributing to promoting tourists to Hung Temple this year".
On the evening of March 29, at Hung Vuong Square, Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province, the Hung Temple festival was officially opened with a grand art program with the theme "Ring of the origin", opening a series of cultural, sports and tourism events throughout the Hung Temple Festival and the Vietnam Fatherland Culture - Tourism Week - 2025.
At the program, there were 10 special performances presented in the form of a medley and a performance of singing, dancing, water puppetry, drumming... with the participation of 300 artists, actors, dancers, clubs and children, praising the scenery, people, culture and heritage of the homeland of Phu Tho in particular and Vietnam in general.
