Within the framework of the Gia Lai province tourism promotion program in Korea in 2026, on June 11, in Seoul City (Korea), a delegation from Gia Lai province led by Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea.
Receiving and working with the delegation was Mr. Vu Ho - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Korea.
At the working session, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that this working trip aims to promote the potential and advantages of the locality; introduce the province's development orientation in key areas such as renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, processing industry, logistics, tourism, resorts...
According to Mr. Tuan, Gia Lai currently converges many advantages of both the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions. With an increasingly complete transportation infrastructure system, including airports, seaports and high-connectivity highways, and plenty of room to break through in the coming period.
Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Korea has always been one of the important partners of Vietnam in general and Gia Lai in particular in the fields of investment, trade, tourism, industry, services and people-to-people exchanges for many years.
During the working trip to Korea, the Gia Lai Provincial Delegation will work and meet with many large organizations and businesses such as KBIZ, HanaTour, Blooming Sky; and at the same time organize the Gia Lai Provincial Investment Promotion Forum to introduce the potential, strengths and investment environment of the locality to Korean partners.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan wished the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea to continue to support the province in image promotion, introducing the investment environment; connecting with associations, trade and investment promotion organizations and Korean businesses to more effectively spread the potential and advantages of Gia Lai in this market.
In the immediate future, Gia Lai province requests the Embassy to support research on the possibility of operating Seoul - Quy Nhon charter flights in the third quarter of 2026, creating favorable conditions for attracting Korean tourists to the locality.
Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the locality will always accompany and create favorable conditions for Korean businesses to come to explore the market, study cooperation and investment opportunities.
Appreciating Gia Lai's proactiveness in promoting, advertising and attracting foreign investment, Ambassador Vu Ho said that the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea will continue to accompany the province in introducing the image, potential and strengths of the locality.
At the same time, promoting the role of a bridge, supporting connections with Korean organizations, associations and businesses, contributing to attracting more investors to Gia Lai to explore the market, expand cooperation and implement investment projects in the coming time.
