On February 26, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Duc Hoai - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police - said that the unit is verifying the case of 2 cars stopping head-on on Xuan Dieu street (Quy Nhon ward), causing public concern.

According to initial information, at noon on February 25th, a clip circulated on social networks recording the scene of 2 cars stopping and confronting each other right in the middle of Xuan Dieu street. This is a two-way street with a yellow lane marking (mark 1. 1).

According to images in the clip, car BKS 77A-127. 31 (moving in the direction of Nguyen Tat Thanh Square - Quy Nhon Port) is completely on the lane for vehicles going in the opposite direction, although at that time the traffic flow was quite smooth.

The clip after being posted attracted many interactions. Many opinions expressed confusion about the handling of the driver of car 77A-127. 31 when the vehicle stopped in a location that could easily cause traffic unsafety.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police, through initial verification, the owner of vehicle 77A-127. 31 is Ms. B.T. P. M. (born 1979, residing in Quy Nhon ward).

On the afternoon of February 25, functional forces contacted her by phone, but Ms. M. did not answer the phone. The working group then went to her residence to work, but Ms. M.'s husband said that she was busy with personal matters and could not work yet.

We have sent an invitation to Ms. M. to come to work this morning to clarify the matter," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Duc Hoai informed.
