Recorded on streets subject to land acquisition such as Bach Dang, Van Kiep, many households are actively dismantling works and relocating assets to hand over land.
Along with site clearance work, at the river overpass construction site and access roads, the contractor organizes multi-shift construction during the day to take advantage of favorable weather conditions and ensure the set progress.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - residing in Hong Ha ward - said that recently the project implementation progress has been very fast.
According to my observation, construction units work continuously day and night. Site clearance is carried out methodically, people are specifically guided, so most people agree" - Mr. Hoa shared.
However, Mr. Hoa also said that this area often falls into a smoky and dusty situation due to construction dismantling activities, which significantly affects the lives and business of people around the project.
When site clearance work accelerated, construction site dust almost covered the surrounding streets and alleys. Many families had to close their doors all day to limit dust from flying into their houses," Mr. Hoa said.
According to people's sharing, after petitioning, local authorities have dispatched water sprayers to reduce dust during the day. However, dismantling activities still take place at night, so people want the water spraying to be maintained more regularly during this time.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy - a business household near the project area - assessed that the construction progress is being implemented quite effectively. However, she hopes that the site clearance items will be completed soon so that people can stabilize their lives and business activities.
Regarding the project progress, Ms. Phung My Nga - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hong Ha Ward Party Committee - informed that in a short time, the Ward People's Committee has completed the approval of 100% of compensation, support and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations and the set progress. Up to now, the site clearance work to serve the Tran Hung Dao bridge project has basically been completed.
Regarding the construction site dust situation, Hong Ha ward is implementing many remedial measures such as regularly spraying water and transporting scrap metal out of the area immediately after dismantling to minimize the impact on people's lives.
According to the approved plan, the Tran Hung Dao bridge project has a total investment of more than 16,000 billion VND, with a total implemented area of about 309,832.6m2. Hong Ha ward alone accounts for about 44,486.8m2, affecting 326 households, individuals and 9 organizations and businesses.
