On April 28, Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department of the City Police deployed a plan to handle violations of the railway traffic safety corridor on the section from Km99+350 to Km101+318 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line, belonging to Le Chan and An Bien wards.
Through ensuring traffic order and safety on the railway line, the Traffic Police Department discovered that the above area still has many violations such as: organizing illegal parking within the railway corridor, erecting fences, temporary tents, gathering domestic waste and construction materials... causing urban unsightliness and potential risk of railway traffic accidents.
Implementing the direction of the Traffic Police Department, the City People's Committee and the Director of the City Police on strengthening prevention and reducing railway traffic accidents according to Project No. 12/DA-BCA dated August 19, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security, Traffic Police Team No. 1 coordinated with the Ward Police, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots ward and officials and employees of Ha Hai Joint Stock Company (Hai Phong) to deploy violation clearance.
Accordingly, in the morning, the forces cut and cleared nearly 200 trees violating the limit size, collected materials and waste, demolished 50 m of railway fences, dismantled 2 temporary tents and shops, and cleared 1 parking lot on the left side of Km 100+100.
After completing the clearance, Traffic Police Team No. 1 coordinated with the People's Committees of Le Chan and An Bien wards to strengthen propaganda, inspection, supervision, and strictly handle violations; and at the same time prevent the situation of re-encroachment on the railway traffic safety corridor, contributing to ensuring traffic safety and reducing traffic accidents in the city.
