On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to seriously learn from experience because they have not proactively deployed and completed dossiers to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council at the regular meeting in mid-2026.
According to the official dispatch, the Department is slow to complete the dossier to amend and supplement the land price list, although the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had previously issued a document directing implementation.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Director of the Department to be fully responsible if delays affect the progress of resolution issuance, affect the implementation of investment projects and financial obligations related to land.
Previously, on June 22, Mr. Do Tam Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed an official dispatch criticizing the slowness in advising on the issuance of land price adjustment dossiers in the province.
According to this document, the adjustment of the land price list aims to implement Resolution No. 254/2025 of the National Assembly and remove obstacles when implementing the Land Law.
Although the Provincial People's Committee has repeatedly directed, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee regularly urges, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has not yet completed the dossier to submit to the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee.
The Provincial People's Committee requested the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to uphold the spirit of responsibility, urgently complete the advisory dossiers in accordance with regulations, and at the same time emphasized that the head of the Department must be fully responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee if delays continue to occur.
Before the above two documents, on June 19, the Provincial People's Committee also issued a document criticizing and requesting a review of responsibilities for the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment related to the slow implementation of the project of surveying, adjusting cadastral maps, preparing cadastral records and completing the national land database in 25 communes and wards in the East.
This delay leads to slow contractor selection, seriously affecting the project implementation progress as well as the province's land database construction plan.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize a review of responsibilities for the collective leadership of the Department, specialized departments, affiliated units and consulting units; clarify responsibilities at each stage, and report the results to the Provincial People's Committee through the Department of Home Affairs.
