Ha Long strictly handles many contractors behind schedule

    Quang Ninh - Ha Long City has just terminated contracts with many contractors due to slow construction progress of projects, affecting the general development plan of the locality.

    At the project of the K67 Bridge and canal road (Ha Khanh Ward) through Nuoc Nuoc Mai Bridge to Road 336 (Ha Lam Ward), the Ha Long City Construction Investment Project Management Board has issued a notice to terminate the contract with Thanh Nga Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company and Nhan Tin Company Limited.

    Similarly, in the project to build the Gieng Day Ward Police headquarters, the City Land Fund Development Center terminated the contract with Construction Joint Stock Company 283 due to failure to arrange enough machinery and human resources as committed, slowing down progress.

    With the goal of effectively using public investment capital and speeding up construction of a number of key projects, Ha Long City not only resolutely replaces violating contractors but also strictly handles individuals and units that are negligent in their duties.

    In 2025, Ha Long City plans to allocate VND 2,709 billion for public investment projects, including 101 transitional projects from 2024.
