The appearance of a modern, synchronous road with a system of green trees and lighting is gradually forming at the Northwest gateway of the Capital.
Records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters show that the construction atmosphere at the construction project of the box culvert drainage line on Vo Chi Cong, Hoang Minh Thao, Tan My... routes is taking place urgently. Construction units mobilize maximum manpower and machinery to accelerate the progress of site clearance, planting trees and completing technical infrastructure.
On Hoang Minh Thao street, many worker groups divided shifts to carry out the final items of the project. The corrugated iron fences serving construction before have been dismantled, returning clear space for people to travel. Many road sections have been asphalted flat, and the remaining locations are also being urgently completed to synchronize the entire route.
In the Hoang Minh Thao - Vo Chi Cong and Hoang Minh Thao - Pham Van Dong intersection area, the final connection items are still being implemented to bring the entire project to completion on schedule.
Sharing with PV, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - a worker at Trading Company 68 - said that heavy rain weather is significantly affecting the construction progress.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Son - a worker at Dai An Company - said that the sewer system on Hoang Minh Thao street has been cleared, and the unit is connecting it to the sewer line on Vo Chi Cong street. However, heavy rain caused water to pour in continuously, so workers had to pump water to continue construction. The weather also affected the ground leveling and asphalt pavement work.
If the weather is favorable, this week we will complete the connection and next week we will asphalt and restore the entire site," Mr. Son said.
A highlight in the site clearance process is the renovation of the median strip. On Vo Chi Cong street, the green tree system has been replanted, many trees have begun to grow, creating green space for the street. Along with that, the lighting system is also installed synchronously, contributing to ensuring urban aesthetics and traffic safety.
This change has received the consensus of the people. Mr. Ma Duc Dung (Vong Thi street) said: "The appearance of the road has changed significantly. We hope the remaining items will be completed soon to make people's travel more convenient.
According to research, the 3 x 3 m box culvert line is a key project to improve drainage capacity for the Northwest Hanoi area. When completed, the project will not only contribute to reducing the risk of flooding in the rainy season but also increase the ability to draw water into the To Lich River, improving the ecological environment of the area.
