According to a representative of the Hanoi Department of Construction, from April 21 to October 21, 2025, the city will pilot traffic organization adjustment at Le Duan Street and the intersection of Le Duan - Nguyen Khuyen - Hai Ba Trung - Cua Nam (Hoan Kiem District).
Specifically, during the pilot period, vehicles will travel in one direction on Le Duan Street, from Nguyen Thai Hoc Street to Hai Ba Trung Street. Motorbikes traveling from Nguyen Khuyen Street to Hai Ba Trung Street will follow the instructions of the traffic sign and light system.
The Department of Construction assigned the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to carry out adjustments and install additional remote directional signs (Hai Ba Trung - Tho Nhuom intersection area), and at the same time adjust traffic light fixures in the central area of intersections and neighboring intersections, to suit the traffic volume and the pilot plan.
The authorities will monitor and evaluate the traffic situation on the route and area to promptly detect inadequacies, thereby proposing appropriate adjustments.
The Department of Construction Inspectorate is assigned to arrange forces to coordinate with relevant units to guide and divert vehicles according to the pilot plan.
The Department of Construction also requested the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police to coordinate in guiding and diverting vehicles, ensuring traffic safety and order, avoiding congestion; at the same time, inspect and handle violations of traffic safety and order, urban order at the route and intersection area.
