On September 8, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Working Group No. 1, No. 3, No. 4 of the Politburo worked with representatives of 6 Provincial Party Standing Committees of the provinces: Dong Nai, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Quang Tri, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho to give opinions on draft documents and personnel plans for the Party Committee to submit to the Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Working Group No. 1 is chaired by Politburo member and President Luong Cuong.
Working Group No. 3 is chaired by Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Working Group No. 4 is chaired by Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
Also attending the meeting were Politburo members and members of the Central Party Secretariat.
At the working sessions, the Working Groups listened to and gave opinions on the draft main documents submitted to the Party Congresses for the 2025 - 2030 term, including the Political Report, the Report on reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, the Personnel Project for the Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; the draft Congress Resolution and the Action Program to implement the Congress Resolution. Report on receiving and explaining comments from central departments, ministries and branches on draft documents and preparations for the Congresses of the provinces.
Concluding the working session, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong proposed that the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee study and further specify the Resolution implementation action program, clarify priority and breakthrough issues, have practical solutions, focus resources for development to ensure feasibility and efficiency; by 2030, Phu Tho strives to become a center for industrial, trade, logistics, tourism, healthcare, high-quality training, a large cultural center associated with ethnic origin.
For Dong Nai province, President Luong Cuong suggested that it is necessary to clearly identify the strategic position of the province in the key southern region in particular and the whole country in general in terms of economy, culture - society, national defense - security. Dong Nai needs to review and evaluate more carefully the factors and conditions affecting the province's development in the coming time; identify more specific solutions and directions to develop economic sectors; supplement solutions to develop regional connectivity transport infrastructure, proactively build Dong Nai into a multi-regional and multi-center connectivity center; pay attention to the work of planning new development space with a long-term, specific strategic vision and with priority order and consistency in implementation; need to have policies to attract talent and solutions to strongly develop high-quality human resources; effectively implement social security work.
Concluding the working session with Dong Thap province, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested that the Party Committee mobilize all resources to resolutely build Dong Thap for rapid and sustainable development, becoming a growth pole of the Mekong Delta in terms of economy, culture and tourism, taking advantage of the strategic location of the gateway to the Mekong Delta to develop the marine economy and inter-regional logistics.
For Quang Tri province, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested that the Party Committee continue to promote the strength of great solidarity, self-reliance and tradition of the resilient revolutionary land; make the most of available resources; focus on developing a fast and sustainable economy, taking energy industry and high-tech industry as growth drivers, developing unique and worthy tourism services, striving to become a new growth pole.
Concluding the working session with Vinh Long province, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation work for the Congress of Vinh Long province and noted that Vinh Long province needs to accept the opinions of Politburo members, Secretariat members and central agencies to supplement and perfect documents, especially include major central policies in documents and have institutional breakthroughs for local development.
For Thai Nguyen province, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu proposed to strengthen the building of a clean, strong and comprehensive Party and political system; ensure national defense and security; promote the tradition of solidarity, breakthrough, rapid development, identity, sustainability; comprehensively improve people's lives, build Thai Nguyen province into a modern, high-middle-income industrial center before 2030.
