On the afternoon of September 5, the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized a ceremony to reward Nguyen Phu Nhan (class 11A5, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted) with a Gold Medal and Hoang Cong Bao Long (class 11A5, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted) with a Bronze Medal at the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Competition.
At the award ceremony, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - emphasized that the achievements of the students have contributed to affirming the bravery, capacity, and intelligence of the young generation of Vietnam in the current spearhead technology field.
These outstanding achievements are, first of all, due to the efforts of the students themselves, the contributions of the school, the teachers have been dedicated and creative throughout the teaching and training process, guiding them in the national team and sending the team to compete abroad. Along with that is the attention, wholehearted care and timely encouragement from parents, organizations and units for them throughout their learning process.
In particular, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the significant contributions of teachers participating in training award-winning students.
Teachers participating in training students with high achievements at the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Olympic Competition include: Mr. Nguyen Huu Sieu (Head of the team - teacher at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted);
Mr. Le Thien Tra (team trainer - Vice Principal of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted); Mr. Do Van Nho (team trainer - Head of the Information Technology Team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted).
According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the 2024-2025 school year is considered a great success for the Da Nang education sector. The quality of education in majors and levels of education is maintained; excellent students at the city and national levels continue to achieve good results.
In addition to the achievements in national exams, students in Da Nang City have been selected by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate and achieved high and proud results in international exams.
