Accordingly, in the afternoon of March 24, during the expansion of the search area at Cha Ly mountain crevice (Cup village, Huong Lap commune, Quang Tri province), the Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains of Economic - National Defense Team 337 discovered martyrs' remains.
The martyr's remains are located at a depth of 1.6 m, wrapped and tied intact in a parachute cloth, along with accompanying artifacts including: steel wire, buttons, parachute cloth, buttons, many shrapnel...
In particular, there is a glass jar containing artifacts carefully preserved, suspected to contain information about the martyr.

Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, from March 11 to March 23, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Economic - National Defense Team 337 collected 4 martyrs' remains. The Cha Ly mountain stream area alone collected 2 martyrs' remains on March 23.
It is known that the location where martyrs' remains were discovered on March 24 is 8 m away from the 2 martyrs' remains collected on March 23.
According to the Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains of Economic - National Defense Team 337, the area where the martyrs' remains were discovered is located on the edge of the forest next to Cha Ly stream, about 400-500 m from the Ho Chi Minh trail in the West branch, surrounded by many stone steles (macrostones), engraved with names, hometowns, and unit insignia of the army.
Currently, the sets of martyrs' remains have been brought to the Khe Sanh spiritual cultural area, Quang Tri province for care, incense offering, preservation and implementation of information identification procedures.
