The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a Plan to support housing for people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' relatives and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Hai Duong province.
According to the Plan, Hai Duong province strives to complete 100% of housing support for people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs living in temporary houses, severely damaged houses, and poor households, near-poor households living in temporary houses, dilapidated houses in the province. Housing for people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs will be completed before October 1, 2025. For poor households, near-poor households will be completed before July 1, 2025.
Supported beneficiaries include households of people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs as prescribed in Decree No. 131/2021/ND-CP; residing permanently in Hai Duong province; living in temporary houses or severely damaged houses; requesting housing support.
Poor households, near-poor households (according to multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2022-2025); currently residing in Hai Duong province; living in temporary or dilapidated houses; requesting housing support.
The support level will be based on the minimum estimated value of building a house according to the guidance model of the Construction industry. The support level for building new houses is 100 million VND/house. The support level for repairing houses is 50 million VND/house.
The Provincial People's Committee requires that the implementation of support for housing construction and repair must be timely, quick, urgent, ensuring the correct subjects and conditions for support, and the payment and settlement of funding sources must be carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring democracy, objectivity, fairness, publicity and transparency.
