Mother and child missing while crossing a stream

    Thanh Hoa - On the way home from work, the mother and child crossed a stream with fast-flowing water and were unfortunately swept away by the water and went missing.

    On the night of August 20, information from the People's Committee of Trung Ly commune, Thanh Hoa province said that due to the impact of local heavy rain, a mother and her child were swept away by water while crossing a stream.

    According to initial information, at around 2:30 p.m. the same day, Ms. T.T.D. (born in 1974) and daughter, S.T.S. (born in 2014), residing in Kham 1 village, Trung Ly commune, on his way home from work, wandered through Cha Nam stream to return home. While crossing the stream, due to carelessness, the mother and child slipped and fell into the rushing water and went missing.

    Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities and local authorities organized a search. At around 10:20 p.m., Mrs. D.'s body was found, while S. was still being searched by the authorities.

    According to the representative of Trung Ly Commune People's Committee, as of 9:00 p.m. on August 20, S. had not been found.
