Commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,47 - July 27, 2025), Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 organized many meaningful gratitude activities in Truong Sa archipelago and Khanh Hoa province.
From the beginning of July, the Party Committee and commanders of Brigade 146 have directed affiliated units to organize a political activity "When drinking water, remember its source", educating revolutionary traditions to officers and soldiers, especially the younger generation.
Thereby, fostering gratitude, national pride and the will to practice and be ready to fight to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

During the series of activities, the Brigade's mass organizations offered incense and flowers at the Traditional House, the Martyrs' Monument and memorial areas on the islands of Truong Sa archipelago.
The rituals were held solemnly and respectfully, expressing deep gratitude to generations who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
In particular, hundreds of flower lanterns were released into the sea during the gratitude lantern burning ceremony, creating a sacred and emotional space.
This activity not only has a meaningful meaning but also contributes to educating the younger generation about the responsibility to follow in their father's footsteps.
Brigade 146 organized working groups to visit, encourage and give gifts to policy families, war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' relatives in Khanh Hoa province and Truong Sa special zone, with a total value of more than 60 million VND.

At the meeting to celebrate War Invalids and Martyrs Day held at the unit, the Brigade also presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in the unit and the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Quang Tien - Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 146 emphasized: "The great sacrifices of heroic martyrs and war invalids are a solid foundation for today's generation to walk firmly.
Each officers and soldier of the Brigade volunteers to strive to study, practice, and be ready to complete all assigned tasks well, contributing to beautifying the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers.
The gratitude activities on the occasion of July 27 have become a traditional beauty of the 46th Brigade, contributing to spreading the morality of "Remembering the source of drinking water" and strengthening the strong rear for the Fatherland's front line.
