On July 29, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Thuc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak R'tíh commune, Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province, said that in the commune, two roads had just collapsed, causing traffic insecurity.
The landslide happened yesterday (July 28). In particular, a landslide occurred on the Dak R'tíh - Dak Ngo route with a landslide length of about 20m, a crack width of about 2-3cm and a depth of nearly 1m.
Another landslide occurred on the Dak R'tíh - Dak Buk So commune, the landslide length was about 50m, the depth was from 2 - 6m. Both of the landslide roads mentioned above are in the construction phase.
In particular, the Dak R'tíh - Dak Ngo route has a total investment of about 25 billion VND, is currently asphalted, is completing auxiliary works, and has not yet been accepted and handed over.
As for the Dak R'tíh - Dak Búk So route, it has a total investment of about 36 billion VND and is currently being bulldozed and graded.
“After the landslide occurred, we reported to Tuy Duc district People's Committee. Immediately afterwards, the district's functional forces and contractors and investors arrived at the scene to stretch ropes, fences, and post warning signs for pedestrians. Currently, landslides do not continue to spread. Construction units are coordinating to overcome the landslide problem" - Mr. Thuc added.
In recent days, the weather in Dak Nong province has had many long, heavy rains, causing landslides in many areas.
