On the morning of December 26, Ho Chi Minh City Public Passenger Transport Center coordinated with Vin buses Transportation Service Company Limited to organize a ceremony to announce the operation of 58 VinFast EB 8 electric buses on routes 33 and 150.
Routes 33 and 150 are the two busiest bus routes in Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, route 33 mainly serves the daily school needs of students, while route 150 plays an important role in connecting people to medical facilities and many key areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Nhat - General Director of Vinbus said that the entire new fleet of vehicles belongs to the modern generation of vehicles, suitable for operation in urban space. The vehicle uses an electric motor that operates smoothly, reduces noise and does not emitt it into the environment.
The vehicle design focuses on the passenger experience, with a low floor, spacious space, equipped with a wheelchair support slope for people with disabilities.
In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with a security camera system, clear journey information board, Wi-Fi and USB charging port, contributing to improving the quality of public transport services.
To ensure stable operation, the enterprise has invested in 25 120 kW charging stations, arranged in accordance with the actual exploitation needs of the lines.

According to Mr. Bui Hoa An - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, the city currently has nearly 2,500 buses in operation, of which 66 routes with more than 1,082 vehicles use clean fuel, accounting for about 46%.
