Bus routes 150, 33 - two busy routes in Ho Chi Minh City will change their route from August 1

HCMC - From August 1, the two bus routes with subsidy numbers 150 and 33 will officially change their route after moving to a new exploitation unit.

The Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center has just announced a change in the route of a series of bus routes from August 1.

According to the Center, bus route No. 150 officially operates according to the new route, changing the end point from Tan Van Intersection to the new Mien Dong Bus Station.

This route is exploited by Vinbus Eco-T transportation Service Company Limited, and is one of two bus routes that this enterprise won the auction for exploitation.

Bus route No. 150 with the Cho Lon Bus Station - The new Mien Dong Bus Station route has a distance of about 26.6 km. The estimated travel time for each trip is about 70 minutes.

The vehicle used is a 68-seat Samco CNG, equipped with a refrigerator and identified in blue paint.

The bus route will operate from 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Cho Lon Bus Station and from 4:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the new Mien Dong Bus Station.

The ticket price applied to regular passengers is 7,000 VND/trip; students are given a preferential rate of 3,000 VND/trip. In addition, passengers can buy an admission ticket of 157,000 VND/30 trips. The pick-up and drop-off of passengers is carried out at existing stops along the route.

Route to the new Mien Dong Bus Station: Cho Lon Bus Station (Ben A) - Le Quang Sung Street - Pham Dinh Ho Street - Thap Muoi Street - Ngo Nhan Tinh Street - Phu Huu Street - Hong Bang Street - An Duong Vuong Street - Nguyen Tri Phuong Street - Ngo Gia Tu Street - Dien Bien Phu Street - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - Hanoi Highway - D400 Street - Hoang Huu Nam Street - Road No. 13 - New Mien Dong Bus Station (bus station area).

Route to Cho Lon Bus Station: New Mien Dong Bus Station (bus station area) - Road No. 13 - Hoang Huu Nam Street - D400 Street - Hanoi Highway - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - Dien Bien Phu Street - Nguyen Binh Khiem Street - Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street - Ly Thai To Street - Ngo Gia Tu Street - Hong Bang Street - Phu Huu Street - Cho Lon Bus Station (Ben A).

Not only route 150, from August 1, bus route No. 33 (An Suong Bus Station - National University) operated by Vinbus will also have its end point adjusted, transferring to Station A of National University instead of Area B dormitory as before.

In addition to Vinbus, from August 1, the public passenger transport system of Ho Chi Minh City will have a notable change when Phuong Trang - Futabuslines Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company officially put into operation 35 bus routes that were awarded in the recent auction.

The routes include: 03, 07, 14, 18, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 36, 39, 46, 48, 55, 58, 71, 76, 77, 85, 87, 88, 89, 90, 100, 101, 103, 104, 107, 126, 128, 145, 146.

Notably, many of these routes have had their routes adjusted to connect directly to the station of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien).

Route 30 has been changed from Tan Huong Market - National University to Tan Huong Market - Van Thanh Bus Station.

Route No. 55 from the new Quang Trung Software Park - Mien Dong Bus Station has now been converted to Quang Trung Software Park - Van Thanh Bus Station.

Route 104 is adjusted from An Suong Bus Station - Nong Lam University to An Suong Bus Station - Van Thanh Bus Station.
