The organizing committee requests press agencies, reporters, and journalists to urgently submit works to participate in accordance with regulations.
According to regulations, valid works are works published in press agencies and media outlets licensed by competent state agencies from September 2, 2025 to the end of September 10, 2026. The time to receive dossiers and entries lasts until September 30, 2026 (calculated according to postmark and email date).
The award includes 2 main categories. In which, the Press Award category for propaganda on energy saving and efficiency use is for works of print newspapers, radio, television and online newspapers. The Propaganda Award category for energy saving and efficiency use is for video clips applied to products posted on online newspapers or official media platforms and social networks of agencies and organizations.
Participants in the award include professional journalists, non-professional journalists, collaborators, and informants of press and media agencies; communication staff at power units and Vietnamese citizens whose works meet the requirements for content and form according to the Regulations can all submit works to participate.
The award aims to recognize and honor quality journalistic works, contributing to raising community awareness about the role and meaning of using energy economically and efficiently; and at the same time spreading models, initiatives, and solutions to promote energy transition and sustainable development.
Structure of the Press Award for propaganda on energy saving and efficiency in 2026:
The prize has a total value of 321 million VND, including 32 prizes, including:
1 Special Prize: worth 20 million VND.
5 A prizes: each prize worth 15 million VND.
8 B Prizes: each prize worth 12 million VND.
8 C prizes: each prize worth 10 million VND.
10 Consolation Prizes: each prize worth 5 million VND.
The work dossier needs to clearly state the author information including: full name, pen name (if any), phone number, email, working agency/contact address.
The organizing committee receives applications in 2 forms: online and by post.
