On the morning of June 27, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting to respond to the 2026 Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control and the "Joint determination to build communes and wards without drugs" race.
The program is connected online with the national-level meeting in Hanoi and simultaneously deployed in 124 communes and wards in Tuyen Quang province.
At the meeting, delegates watched the launching program of the 2026 Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control organized by the Central Government with the theme: "Together determined to build communes, wards, and special zones without drugs".
Delegates also spent a minute commemorating officers and soldiers of the armed forces who bravely sacrificed in the fight against drugs.
Immediately after the rally, leaders of Tuyen Quang province, along with representatives of departments, branches, armed forces, union members, youth, students, and a large number of people participated in the "Joining a determination to build communes and wards without drugs" race, spreading the message of living healthily, saying no to drugs.
In Thai Nguyen, the meeting to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026 and the "Together determined to build communes and wards without drugs" race attracted more than 25,000 participants at 92 locations in the province.
At Vo Nguyen Giap Square bridge point alone, there are more than 3,000 officials, soldiers, union members, youth, students and people participating.
Through the series of activities, localities continue to spread the message of building a safe and civilized living environment; promoting the role of all classes of people in preventing and combating drug crime.
Thereby, contributing to the effective implementation of the movement "Joining a determination to build communes and wards without drugs", building a safe, healthy and sustainable community.
