According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at Thanh Hoa Station on the 4th and 5th days of Tet (ie, February 20th and 21st), many people gathered here to wait to board trains to provinces and cities to work after days of returning to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with relatives.

Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Hoa Station said that on the 4th, 5th and 6th days of Tet, the number of passengers arriving at the station after the holiday was quite large. On average, about 700 people come to the station every day to board trains back to provinces and cities, mainly in the South, to live and work.
Records at the station show that many passengers carry bulky luggage and belongings and appear quite tired after a long journey home for Tet.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Vi (resident in Nha Be, Ho Chi Minh City) shared that this year's Tet holiday her family returned to her hometown in Thanh Hoa to reunite with relatives. After the joyful days of welcoming Spring, she and her family boarded a train back to Ho Chi Minh City to work. "Although the journey is quite hard, being able to return to her hometown to celebrate Tet with grandparents makes the whole family very happy" - Ms. Vi said.
