According to the preliminary report of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Hai Phong City Police, in just two days, September 7 and 8, the 114 Center of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the City Police received and processed 66 fire reports and rescue requests from victims and people trapped in the affected area of storm No. 3 Yagi in Hai Phong.
As of 8:00 a.m. on September 8, the Fire Police and Rescue Force had searched, rescued and guided about 164 people to escape from the dangerous area to a safe place.
In particular, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tien Lang District Police used fire trucks to help 80 people safely cross Khue Bridge during the storm; the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thuy Nguyen District Police supported 3 people to cross Binh Bridge due to the impact of the storm.
Previously, at 11:40 p.m. on September 7, Do Son District Police rescued a mother and child who were injured by broken glass and took them to the medical center in time.
Up to now, the functional forces and departments, branches, sectors and organizations in Hai Phong city are still actively overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.
