The leader of Becamex IDC Corporation said that the unit is cooperating with partners to deploy the above 3 industrial parks to achieve the ecological industrial park model according to international standard EIP 2.0.
Cay Truong Industrial Park and Bau Bang Industrial Park have just started construction with a total investment of VND 5,459 billion. Bau Bang Industrial Park alone was built with an area of 2,000 hectares and has been in operation since 2015.
According to the reporter's records, up to now, many foreign-invested enterprises have built factories and organized production in Bau Bang Industrial Park. The highlight of this industrial park is the investment in a well-planned construction. The industrial park is separated from the surrounding residential areas.
Notably, tree planting is also done methodically. Around Bau Bang Industrial Park, the green color of many newly planted trees is covered.
NC road running along Bau Bang Industrial Park is nearly 10km long and is planted with many rows of trees to create a green corridor. This green carpet both retains water, prevents erosion, and filters pollutants. The developing trees are gradually creating a vegetation ecosystem around the industrial park.
According to Becamex IDC Corporation, developing green areas in industrial parks is one of the factors for developing ecological industrial parks. In 2024 and 2025, hundreds of thousands of cajuput trees and other forest trees were planted in the above 3 industrial parks. The company has implemented planting and care systematically so that trees can develop into ecological corridors around industrial parks.
