In Ninh Binh, at exactly 0:00 on January 28 (the first day of Lunar New Year 2025), low-altitude fireworks were set off in 5 localities in the province to welcome the new year.

For 15 minutes, many people could not take their eyes off the fireworks, many took out their phones to record the brilliant and memorable moments of the first day of the year.

In the mountainous district of Nho Quan (Ninh Binh), on New Year's Eve, people from all over flocked to the district's Central Cultural House early, eagerly awaiting the moment of welcoming the new year. The cheerful laughter mixed with the vibrant atmosphere of art performances created an exciting atmosphere.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, in Ninh Binh province, there are 5 localities including Hoa Lu city, Tam Diep city, Yen Mo district, Yen Khanh district and Nho Quan district organizing low-altitude fireworks displays to serve people to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Each location will have a fireworks display for 15 minutes, starting at 00:00. The funding for organizing low-altitude fireworks displays will come from socialized sources, not from the state budget.

At 11:15 p.m., in Hai Duong, thousands of people flocked to Nguyen Dai Nang Square (Kinh Mon town) to join in the atmosphere welcoming the Lunar New Year.

At exactly 11:15 p.m., 650 high-altitude fireworks and 100 low-altitude fireworks were launched into the sky for 15 minutes. Each cluster of fireworks lit up the entire space, the cheers of the people mixed with the sound of fireworks as if signaling the arrival of a new spring.

From early evening, Nguyen Dai Nang Square (Kinh Mon Town, Hai Duong Province) was packed with people. The audience who arrived early found ideal seats to enjoy the New Year's music program.

“Every New Year’s Eve, my whole family goes to Ho Chi Minh Square to watch the New Year’s Eve performance. It is so happy to be immersed in the sacred atmosphere and feel the harmony between heaven and earth, and together express wishes for happiness and peace in the new year” – Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (45 years old, resident of Hung Binh ward, Vinh city) shared.

It is known that this year's flower street has more than 40 thousand flower pots and fresh flower baskets, with many different varieties, combined with more than 20 models and miniatures made by artisans, to serve visitors to visit and take photos.

New Year's Eve is approaching but there are still more than 500 pots left. The female trader is forced to sell for 500,000 VND/pair, while previously the price was from 1.5 to 1.7 million VND/pair.

"I'm sure I'll lose money, but I haven't calculated it yet. Now I hope to sell everything soon so I can go home to celebrate Tet with my family and do it again next year," said Ms. Lien.

In Kien Giang, crowds of people gathered at Tran Quang Khai Square (Rach Gia City) to watch the fireworks festival to celebrate New Year's Eve.

On the evening of January 28 (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year 2025), at Tran Quang Khai Square (Rach Gia City), the People's Committee of Kien Giang province organized an art program to welcome the New Year with the theme "Kien Giang welcomes spring". This is also an art program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).

According to the Provincial People's Committee, 2024 is a successful year in all areas of the province, with 24/24 socio-economic targets reaching and exceeding the plan assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Council; the second highest economic growth rate since the beginning of the term (only after 2022, up 7.7%).
