Recently, the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Hai Ba Trung ward (Hanoi) has announced the renovation and embellishment of technical infrastructure in the sidewalk area of Tran Nhan Tong street and the gate of Thong Nhat Park (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu street to Tran Binh Trong street).
Before the plan to renovate and embellish the technical infrastructure of Tran Nhan Tong sidewalk area and the gate of Thong Nhat Park, many people living in this area have expressed their agreement and great expectations for the change in living space in the area.

As a regular pedestrian at Thong Nhat Park, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (62 years old, residing on Tran Nhan Tong street) expressed his excitement when the renovation project was implemented.
The current sidewalk line is made of block bricks that have been degraded for a long time, many places are prone to prolapses, which can easily cause stumbles for the elderly and young children. Replacing it with granite not only helps the road to be clearer and safer, but also increases the aesthetics for the whole neighborhood" - Mr. Hung said.
Also according to Mr. Hung, the demolition of the fence in the gate area will create a ventilated and synchronous space for the entire park. Previously, the surrounding fences were removed, helping people easily access green space.

Ms. Le Thi Mai (34 years old, Hai Ba Trung ward) also hopes that the project will bring a newer space for entertainment and recreation for people.
I am impressed with the plan to build a central fountain combined with LED lights and public drinking water pillars. These modern amenities will surely turn Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street into an attractive destination for tourists every weekend" - Ms. Mai shared.
The installation of additional surveillance camera systems also helps people feel more secure about security and order when playing here.
I hope the project will be implemented on schedule so that people can benefit" - Ms. Mai said.

According to the proposed plan, Hai Ba Trung ward will design a space to open Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street to concretize the urban design project for the area around Thien Quang Lake.
This area will be built with a central fountain, an event yard combined with LED lights on both sides of the central fountain strip, installation of decorative light poles along both sides of the event yard, design of decorative stone floors, and LED lights at the decorative rings on the pedestrian street.
Along with that, build underground water tanks to serve fountains, public drinking water pillars and booths of the fair.
The ward is proceeding to replace all sidewalk block tiles with granite; dismantling fences on both sides of the gate...
In addition, move and relocate ornamental and decorative trees to nurseries; move and relocate existing shade trees at locations that affect the architectural space of the open space area.
The park gate will be repaired and renovated in the direction of keeping the original state; install additional lighting systems and LED screen signs for the park gate; install camera systems...
