According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the consolidated building - the headquarters of the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa province, address No. 30 Nguyen Duy Hieu, Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province - cracks have appeared in many locations.

With the naked eye, cracks can be observed in the yard area, on both sides of the pillars leading to the working area of the 3 departments. Notably, in the staircase area of most floors, many horizontal cracks appear on the wall surface.
According to observations, this combined building is built on a land area of thousands of square meters, with a height of about 10 floors, including both the basement and the attic.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Home Affairs confirmed that after receiving, managing and using the building, the unit recorded cracks occurring in many locations as reflected.
The consolidated building was received by the unit in March 2025, and the warranty period expires in March 2026. During use, we noted that in addition to cracks in many places, the building also had the situation of open glass panels, causing water to see inside," said a representative of Thanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs.

Also according to this representative, although the project has cracks and damage, when the warranty period expires in March 2026, the unit still has to sign a confirmation of the end of the warranty period.
After detecting the damage phenomenon, the Department of Home Affairs reflected it to the investor. After that, the construction unit proceeded with repairs. However, whether repairs are guaranteed or not needs more time to monitor. If the project continues to be heavily damaged, the Department will propose to the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to consider allocating repair funds.
Real-world records at the building show that repairs have been carried out but have mainly stopped at the stage of painting and baiting to cover the cracks. Currently, some cracks continue to be exposed and show signs of spreading.
