On September 25, a representative of the Department of Transport of Quang Binh province said that they will work with the school to re-examine the cases of failed driving practice tests on the day storm No. 4 made landfall.
Accordingly, on the morning of September 19, 108 students took the driving test in the picture, of which 68 passed and 40 failed.
“After receiving the feedback, we will work with Binh Minh Vocational College, Quang Binh, to check and review these 40 failed cases. Candidates who have voluntarily registered to take the test will not be tested. In cases where they did not register but failed due to the effects of wind and rain, we will extract the camera for verification, from here we will have a plan to support these candidates” - said a representative of the Department of Transport of Quang Binh province.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on September 19, Facebook posted an article related to the driving test for candidates at Binh Minh Quang Binh Vocational College (Vinh Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province).
According to the article, on the morning of September 19, the weather at the school was rainy but the exam was still held.
After the article was published, many people disagreed with the organization of the exam in such bad weather. The fact that storm No. 4 is about to make landfall will affect the professional performance of the exam.
Some people think that this test helps candidates get used to the weather, but when storm number 4 is about to hit the shore, the test should be temporarily stopped and the date changed.
A candidate taking the exam at Binh Minh Vocational College in Quang Binh said that after failing the practical exam, he still paid to retake the exam.
This person said that according to the schedule, students came to take the test on the morning of September 19. After the theory test, the students continued to take the practical test in the car.
"It's raining heavily and the wind is strong, but we still go out to do it according to the regulations," said this student.
Due to heavy rain and strong winds, the practical exam was affected. Candidates could not see the rearview mirror, their vision was obstructed, while the time for the exam was limited, leading to many candidates failing. After failing, this person had to pay 350,000 VND for the re-examination fee.
A representative of Binh Minh Vocational College in Quang Binh confirmed the collection of this amount of money from students who failed the practical exam.
