According to Mr. Vu Quang Tiep - a flower trader in Hanoi, the number of customers coming to refer to, ask for prices and deposit orchid varieties is increasing day by day. However, Mr. Tiep believes that purchasing power will increase more strongly after the 10th day of the twelfth lunar month, when the demand for Tet flowers enters its peak.
This year the weather is erratic, there are many floods, so the price of orchids is higher than last year, increasing by about 25,000-30,000 VND/branch. Most people choose orchids with prices ranging from 300,000-350,000 VND/branch. For higher-end orchid varieties, the price can be up to several million VND per branch," Mr. Tiep shared.
Going to see and buy orchids for Tet at this time, Mr. Bui Van Luong (Hanoi) said that every year his family chooses orchids to decorate Tet. After consulting many stores, Mr. Luong commented that this year's orchids have more diverse designs, beautiful shapes and diversity.
