On March 21, reporters were present at the Obstetrics Department, Lam Dong II Hospital to meet N (born on April 27, 2010, residing in Di Linh District, Lam Dong). This 15-year-old girl just gave birth here.
Previously, on March 19, N was hospitalized to give birth. The health of the mother and child has stabilized and is being monitored in the postpartum room.
Sharing with us, Mrs. C - N's mother - shed tears as she told us about the difficult circumstances of the family. Mrs. C is a single mother, raising three children (two boys, one girl) alone. In which, N was the second daughter.
The family previously lived with their grandparents in Di Linh town. But more than two years ago, Mrs. C and her children moved to a private rented house. The eldest son is sick, Mrs. C herself has a disability in her leg and kidney disease, and has to work for hire and pick up scrap metal to raise her child.
At the end of June 2024, Ms. C met a woman named Nguyen Thi Thien (residing in Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa) through social networks. After that, Mrs. Thien and her son named S went to Di Linh to live with Mrs. C and her children.
Shortly after, Mrs. C discovered N and her youngest son following Mrs. Thien and her children. At that time, N was in 8th grade. When the N sisters left, Ms. C's car "did not have wings but flew".
The youngest son quickly returned, while N followed them to Ho Chi Minh City a month later.

Talking about the reason for leaving home, N said: "After forcing me to do that, Mr. S invited me to follow and promised to take care of me. For more than a month in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. S took his motorbike, gold ring and earrings to sell. When the money was gone, Mr. S and his mother took him back to Di Linh. Because I was so scared, when I asked, I didn't dare to tell the truth."
About three months after returning, Mrs. C noticed that her daughter was showing unusual signs. Taking N to the doctor, she was shocked to learn that her child was 21 weeks pregnant.
Since then, N has dropped out of school but still kept in touch with S. "When he knew my daughter had given birth, S took responsibility and promised many things. But now where and what S should do, my family still doesn't know. My daughter is too young, and nothing of S's promises is certain. Therefore, I urgently request the authorities to investigate and verify to restore justice for my daughter," Ms. C said in grief.
Through discussion, a leader of Di Linh District People's Committee said that after receiving information about the incident, he directed Di Linh Town People's Committee and the Town Police to intervene, coordinating with relevant agencies to verify the incident.
After receiving an official report from the People's Committee of Di Linh town, the district will continue to direct the authorities to investigate and clarify for handling according to the law.
