Held from 8:00 a.m. on March 8 to 12:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025, the competition is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and Daikin Air Conditioning Joint Stock Company (Vietnam), within the framework of the National Program on Energy Saving and Efficient Use for the period 2019 - 2030. The contest is launched on an online platform at: https://cuocthi2025.tietkiemnangluong.com.vn.
With practical and close knowledge about saving electricity and energy in daily life, the contest has created a widespread influence and received enthusiastic response from many people across the country. The success of the contest is the result of close direction from the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade), with the close coordination of EVN and the active participation of affiliated member units.
Many units have made outstanding contributions to the contest implementation process such as: Quang Binh Power Company, Hue Power Company, Bac Lieu Power Company, Dong Nai Power Company, Son La Power Company, Da Nang Power Company Limited. According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, the first phase attracted 36,258 participants with 51,250 exams; the second phase recorded 22,487 contestants with 35,399 exams. In the third period alone (from 8:00 a.m. on March 22 to 12:00 p.m. on March 28, 2025), there were 49,279 participants, performing 60,192 exams.
The Organizing Committee also announced the list of 05 best players in the third round.
The contest has contributed to raising public awareness of energy efficiency and practically responding to the Earth Hour 2025 campaign.
