The contest was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade within the framework of the National Program on Energy Saving and Efficient Use for the period 2019-2030 (VNEEP3), in coordination with Vietnam Electricity Group and Daikin Vietnam Company. The contest has received the participation of many individuals and organizations in fields such as electricity, healthcare, textiles, administrative agencies, as well as many students and teachers from high schools, colleges and universities.
The contest revolves around knowledge about energy policies, energy labels, energy saving measures, safe and efficient use of electricity, as well as information about Earth Hour. The goal is to diversify forms of propaganda, raise public awareness of energy saving, electricity saving and environmental protection, in response to the Earth Hour 2025 campaign.

Phase I of the online contest "Learning about energy saving in response to Earth Hour 2025" takes place from 8:00 a.m. on March 8 to 12:00 p.m. on March 14, attracting 36,258 contestants with a total of up to 51,250. These figures reflect the great interest of the community in energy saving, and at the same time affirm the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in propaganda work.
The Organizing Committee has announced the list of 5 outstanding players of the First and Second Quarter. The second quarter of the contest takes place from 8:00 a.m. on March 15 to 12:00 p.m. on March 21 at: https://cuocthi2025.tietkiemnangluong.com.vn.
