Belt Road 1 - Long Khanh City is about 4.4km long, the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Km1.823+870 right at Suoi Tre gas station; the end point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Km1.818+600.
The project will invest in building a road with a 45m wide roadbed, 14m wide road surface; 6m wide sidewalks on each side, and a 19m wide median strip.
Along with that, the project will also invest in building an independent rainwater and wastewater drainage system arranged with sewers along both sides of the route.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,300 billion VND and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tang Quoc Lap - Vice Chairman of Long Khanh City People's Committee said: Ring Road 1 - Long Khanh City Project is one of the key projects of the province and Long Khanh City.
The route is built to connect the city's traffic infrastructure, solve traffic pressure on National Highway 1, complete the belt axis surrounding the inner city, and create a driving force to attract investment.
From there, it creates the premise to expand urbanization, create urban highlights and aesthetics, promote the economic and social development of the city in the future. At the same time, contribute to realizing the general planning project for Long Khanh City construction to 2040 and vision to 2050.
