On December 9, information from the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that it had met with localities and assigned the task of compensation and site clearance for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project.
Currently, Xuan Loc district, Dinh Quan district, Thong Nhat district and Tan Phu district are completing sub-project documents for appraisal and approval.
The Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Nai province has also issued a document urging units to implement.
Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is more than 60 km long, passing through Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, and Tan Phu districts of Dong Nai province.
This is the first section of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong highway.
According to the decision approving the investment project to build the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway (phase 1) of the Ministry of Transport, the project is invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
The project starts at Km0+000, the intersection area with National Highway 1 connecting with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Dau Giay town, Thong Nhat district; the end point is at Km60+243.83 (end of the intersection area with National Highway 20), connecting with Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway in Phu Trung commune, Tan Phu district.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is an expressway that runs entirely within Dong Nai. Therefore, the locality will be responsible for site clearance for the project. For this project, site clearance is carried out in a complete phase with a total land area of approximately 378 hectares.
The project has a total investment of nearly 9,000 billion VND, including nearly 7,700 billion VND of capital mobilized by investors and 1,300 billion VND of state capital.
In the approved plan, the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project also invested in building a rest stop at Km40, with a scale of 3 hectares on each side.
Site clearance costs for building rest stops are included in the total project investment.
Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is invested in construction with the goal of meeting transportation needs, reducing load and ensuring traffic safety on National Highway 20.
The project will be completed and put into operation in sync with the expressways with large capacity, traffic safety and high speed on the Ho Chi Minh City - Dau Giay - Lien Khuong transport corridor to promote the socio-economic development of Dong Nai province in particular and the Southeast region in general.
At the same time, create a driving force for connection, promote cooperation and development of the Southeast region with the Mekong Delta, the Central Highlands and the South Central region.
