On the morning of June 27, at 30.10 Square, Ha Long ward, Quang Ninh province organized the "Joining hands to build communes, wards, and special zones without drugs" race.
The race has more than 1,500 delegates, officials, soldiers, union members, youth, workers and people participating.
Athletes run on Tran Quoc Nghien street with 2km and 3km distances.

According to the regulations, the official forces participating in the tournament are organized into 11 teams, each team with 102 athletes. The participating blocs include provincial leaders, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command, Youth Union, Coal Industry, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Education, socio-political organizations, departments, boards, branches and forces of Ha Long ward.
Not placing heavy emphasis on personal achievements, the race focuses on team spirit, discipline, and unity in formation and costumes. The activity aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle, improve health, and enhance the responsibility of each person in preventing and combating crime and drug evils.

On the same morning, Quang Ninh participated in responding to the national online meeting to deploy the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026. The provincial-level bridge point is located at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
The rally in Quang Ninh was connected online with the central bridge point in Hanoi and provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones nationwide.
According to information from the organizers, the program is connected to 34 provinces and cities and 3,321 communes, wards, and special zones. The activity aims to create a widespread propaganda campaign, affirming that drug prevention and control is not only the task of functional forces but also the responsibility of the entire political system, each family and each citizen.
Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requests departments, agencies, branches, and localities to continue to innovate propaganda content; strengthen local management, object management; promptly detect, combat, and prevent acts of buying, selling, transporting, storing and organizing the illegal use of drugs.
