Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen has just signed a Decision approving the plan to select a contractor for the project to repair landslides and damage to Ly Tu Trong Primary School, Quang Son Commune.
The project has a total investment value of more than 4 billion VND, including 5 bid packages. All 5 bid packages will be organized to select contractors in the third quarter of 2024. Of which, the construction bid package has a value of nearly 3.9 billion VND.
Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue to be the investor. The investor is responsible for organizing the selection of qualified contractors according to the approved contractor selection plan, publicly and transparently, ensuring the quality of the project and complying with current regulations.
The Department of Planning and Investment is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the appraisal and approval contents.
Ly Tu Trong Primary School was established in 2007 in Quang Son Commune. The school has more than 500 students, of which about 99% are ethnic minority students.
In August 2023, a landslide occurred at Ly Tu Trong Primary School, forcing the demolition of three classrooms. The school then had to borrow classrooms from a nearby preschool to conduct teaching and learning activities.
